  So I was going through some old things with my little sister, and we came across something really funny in one of her old notebooks. She likes to draw like me, and she illustrated an event that happened to her one day: “This is it. I’m going to be kidnapped and disappear from this world.” “Aren’t you in a hurry though?” “Haha… it’s okay. I have time.” If you get paranoid easily maybe you relate?   It’s been about 4 years since she’s drawn it but it’s still applicable to me today… Bad art, great content– that’s the power of timeless work.   I was feeling anxious and disgusted with myself– I stepped on the scale and found that I had gained 20kg. How did I let this happen? Startled, I opened my eyes and realized it was a dream. I went up to go to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror–I am a grown person with a clear understanding that we should be prioritizing the way we feel and act in our bodies rather than numbers, and yet it seems I still intrinsically struggle with this fear of gaining weight.  Why? WOT BATU BEST HEALING I EVER FELT!

  Wot Batu berasal dari bahasa Jawa yang artinya Jembatan, makna filosofisnya adalah Jembatan Jiwa. Wot Batu ini hasil karya seniman senior bernama Sunaryo, Terletak di Jalan Bukit Pakar No. 98 Bandung. Ditata dengan tanaman dan rerumputan seperti taman di sekelilingnya, Sunaryo mengatakan tempat barunya itu bukan taman. Isinya pun bukan sekadar instalasi seni dari material batu. “Kalau dibilang instalasi terlalu mengecilkan arti, dibilang taman terlalu biasa juga,” ujar lulusan Seni Rupa ITB 1969 itu. Selain ditata asri dan alami, Wot Batu punya alur khusus bagi pengunjung dan bermakna. Lorong selebar satu meter setelah pintu masuk misalnya, merupakan awal perjalanan pengunjung.
